TRS president and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday asked party candidates to remind people about the benefits they got from the welfare schemes introduced during the four-andhalf-year TRS rule.
At a meeting at Telangana Bhavan, KCR gave details of all the beneficiaries of various schemes constituency-wise to all candidates. There are approximately 60,000 beneficiaries in each constituency and the TRS is considering them as a strong vote bank.
KCR asked candidates to visit every home during their campaigning to not only remind beneficiaries about what they got but also explain to the electorate about the partial manifesto that he had already declared.
Deputy CM Kadiam Srihari who briefed the media after the three-hour meeting said that by the end of the month, KCR would address two public meetings. . While KCR will try to cover all assembly constituencies after that until the campaigning time ends, he will focus mainly on constituencies where the Mahakutami thinks it has a strong presence. The CM’s schedule of public meetings will be announced on Monday, Srihari said.
