Vote for TRS to enable development, Kadiam tells voters

The Minister asked the people to exercise caution in choosing candidates, adding that the TRS is for development while the Congress is known for settlements, land grabbing and criminal activities.

Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari on Wednesday urged the voters of Parkal Assembly constituency to vote for TRS candidate Challa Dharma Reddy if they want peace and development.

Stating that vote for the Congress candidate (Prajakutami) is nothing but vote for ‘gunda raj’, he asked the people to exercise caution in choosing candidates, adding that the TRS is for development and the Congress is known for settlements, land grabbing and other criminal activities.

Addressing a massive bike rally organised by TRS activists to garner votes for Challa Dharma Reddy here on Wednesday, Srihari termed ‘Prajakutami’ as ‘Daghakutami’ and urged the people to support the TRS candidate. “Dharma Reddy is capable of crushing the ‘konda’. He strived a lot for the development of the constituency as MLA. He was instrumental in setting up the Kakatiya mega textile park in the constituency by acquiring 1,200 acres of land without any hurdle,” he said, adding that Dharma Reddy had even sanctioned Rs 50 crore for laying of CC roads.

Observing that the rally attracted a large number of people, he said that winning the seat is a mere formality for Dharma Reddy.

Ridiculing the parties forming the Prajakutami for their failure in arriving at a decision on seat sharing, he said that TRS candidates have already completed their second phase of campaigning.

Meanwhile, Dharma Reddy urged voters not to believe rumours of him suffering from a serious illness, and urged them to vote him to victory once again. The bike rally, which saw participation of nearly 4,000 people, was organised from Athmakur to Gudeppadu.

MP Banda Prakash also spoke at the rally.
