The Congress leaders tried to create fear psychosis that separate Telangana State would be in darkness clashes will be order of the day.

However, the KCR dispensation disproved the critics by tiding power crisis in just six months and 90 per cent of problem had been addressed. Referring to facilities in the city, KTR said the State government focused on providing better roads, 24-hour power supply to farm sector, industry and domestic needs.

He also said the infant State has achieved better economic development at national level with active participation by all sorts of businessmen flourishing in the State, he said.

#Telangana Polls : Want peace? Vote for TRS: Prabhakar

TRS candidate from Sangareddy Chinta Prabhakar on Friday urged people of his constituency to vote for the party if they want peace to prevail.

Addressing a meeting at Malkapur village in Sangareddy district, Prabhakar said the constituency had reaped the benefits of several development works. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao had initiated a number of welfare programmes for the uplift of backward classes, elderly, women and others, he said.

“The people of the constituency used to live in fear when the Congress was in power. A number of issues cropped up among different sections, but no such incident was reported during the past four years of the TRS rule,” the TRS candidate said.

Prabhakar said unlike his rival T Jagga Reddy, he was just a phone call away from every voter in the constituency. “My doors had always been open not only to the TRS cadre but also to every citizen during the past four years,” he said. He also elaborated on various development works undertaken in Kondapur mandal of the constituency during his tenure as an MLA. He vowed that many surprises were in store in the TRS manifesto, which would be announced shortly by the Chief Minister.

Prabhakar a man of masses: Ex-sarpanch

Former sarpanch of Malkapur Ekkelli Vijayabhaskar Reddy hailed TRS candidate Chintha Prabhakar saying he was always available for them throughout his tenure.

Observing that Prabhakar had made 38 visits to Malkapur in the past four years, Reddy said, as a sarpanch, he maintained a record of every visit and its purpose.

Addressing the gathering during Prabhakar’s election campaign at Malkapur village, the former sarpanch said the TRS contestant not only toured every nook and corner of the constituency regularly but also remained available for them over the phone and at home. Citing an example of how responsive Prabhakar was, Reddy said he had responded to his phone call at 2 am when they sought his help in providing medical treatment to a Malkapur resident. “Prabhakar immediately called up the hospital management and requested them to provide treatment to the resident,” he said.

No future for BJP in TS: Former MLA

Former BJP MLA from Sangareddy constituency K Satyanarayana, who joined the TRS recently, appealed to the voters of Kondapur mandal to vote for Prabhakar in the coming elections to ensure development and peace. He said he joined the TRS impressed by the work of the State government led by Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. Satyanarayana further said he saw no future for the BJP in the State and observed that Sangareddy had witnessed rapid development in the past four years. The former MLA said he would widely campaign in the constituency for the victory of Prabhakar.

Special programme for Lambadas

Kondapur is a predominantly tribal mandal in Sangareddy constituency. To meet the Lamabadas of Kondapur mandal, TRS candidate from Sangareddy organised a “Banjara Aathmiya Sammelan” at Sitaramkunta village. To make the meeting special, he invited folk singer Mangli (Sathyavathi) to entertain the Lambadas. A large number of Lambadas from across the mandal thronged the village to watch the performance of folk artistes and listen to Prabhakar.

Ashirwada Sabha : Eatala exhorts people to vote for TRS

Most of the villagers, which remained backward  when the State was united, are witnessing enormous development now after the formation of separate Telangana, according to caretaker Finance Minister Eatala Rejender here on Friday.

Rajender was participating in the ‘Ashirwada Sabha’ organised by the villagers of Shalapalli, Indiranagar, Manthinipalli and Peddapapaiahpalli villages at private function hall here.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajender said that it was the pink flag which always made efforts for the betterment of the downtrodden. Earlier everyone thought that it would be great if Rs. 50,000 worth of works were sanctioned for the development of their respective villages.

But, after the formation of TRS government every village was developed. Each village secured nearly Rs 5 crore for development works. The construction works of Kaleshwaram project would be completed by next rainy season and there would be plenty of water for irrigation needs.

The caretaker Minister said, “I will be like the elder son of the family and will look after everyone and will try to solve everyone’s problems. It gives immense pleasure for me if everyone lives happily and peacefully and I am striving for that.”

TRS is the only party which can understand the problems of the people. Everything was provided by the TRS party to all sections of people. Kalayana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak, KCR kits, Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bhima schemes were introduced for welfare of the people.

If people would bless the TRS party for the second term by casting their valuable vote, many more welfare schemes would be introduced for the welfare of the people.

ZPTC Molguri Sarojan, Market Committee Chairman Adavalli Kondal Reddy, TRS leaders Gopu Komura Reddy, Polampalli Srinivas Reddy, Sirimalle Raju, Dr Ilaiah, Poreddy Dayakar Reddy, Manthini Ravider, Manthini Srinivas and Sigalatha were present.

ChandraBabu Naidu must learn human values, says TRS

At Telangana Bhavan, MLC Karne Prabhakar pointed out that the Telangana Chief Minister took a humanitarian view and ordered for a funeral with State honours for Harikrishna.

TRS leaders on Friday advised TDP president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to learn some essential lessons in humanity. Refuting his allegations, they wondered why Naidu was making an issue out of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s phone call to YSR Congress Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy extending wishes for his recovery following the attack on him but kept silent when similar courtesy was extended to TDP senior leader N Harikrishna following his death.

Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav condemned the statement of Chandrababu Naidu who found fault with Chandrashekhar Rao, Minister K T Rama Rao, MP K Kavitha and other TRS leaders condemning the attack on Jagan Mohan Reddy at Visakhapatnam airport on Thursday. He said Naidu was becoming impatient and politicising every issue. “Tomorrow, Naidu might even allege that Jagan injured himself in full public view for sympathy,” he opined.

After visiting Jagan Mohan Reddy at City Neuro Centre hospital on Friday, Srinivas Yadav asked: “What is wrong if the Governor enquires with the State DGP about the attack on the Opposition leader? Naidu should not forget that Governor ESL Narasimhan is still the Governor of Andhra Pradesh as well,” he pointed out.

At Telangana Bhavan, MLC Karne Prabhakar pointed out that the Telangana Chief Minister took a humanitarian view and ordered for a funeral with State honours for Harikrishna. “On similar humanitarian grounds, the Chief Minister spoke to Jagan Mohan Reddy to inquire about his health condition and wished him a speedy recovery. But Naidu who did not object to State honours for Harikrishna is now attributing political motives to such gesture,” he added. He said that Chandrashekhar Rao was giving utmost priority to human values, unlike Naidu who was only interested in economic relations.

TRS State Secretary Gattu Ramachander Rao felt that one cannot expect human values from a person like Naidu who was responsible for the death of his own father-in-law and a tall leader like N T Rama Rao. He said Naidu had no values at all, as the latter entered into an alliance with his arch-rival for political mileage.

TRS a committed party, says Diwakar Rao

Ours is a corruption-free and committed party. No one can fault governance of the TRS, says Diwakar.

TRS candidate from Mancherial Assembly constituency Nadipelli Diwakar Rao said around 50,000 people belonging to the constituency had benefited from various welfare schemes implemented by the TRS government in the last four years.

Speaking to the media here on Thursday, Diwakar said Aasara pension amount was going to be raised, besides offering unemployment allowance to jobless if the TRS was voted to power again. He added that the newly formed State had seen a remarkable growth and attracted investments worth thousands of crores.

The former legislator listed out some of the development works taken up by him during his tenure: Bridge across the Godavari from Mancherial to Anthargaon, Widening of Mandamarri-Mancherial road, flyover between High-tech City and Hamaliwada of the town and beautification of Mancherial town, all costing nearly Rs 300 crore.

“We have developed the constituency on many fronts. No party can find an irregularity to criticise our performance. Ours is a corruption-free and committed party. No one can fault governance of the TRS,” he stated, adding that he had told the police to book cases against 18 persons for grabbing land. He exuded confidence that voters would elect him as a legislator for the fourth time and help the party form the government.

The candidate further said youngsters were being attracted to the TRS and were joining the party in large numbers from the recent past.

He, earlier, organised a door-to-door campaign in Itikyala of Luxettipet and requested electors to cast their votes to him. He criticised the Congress for faulting the TRS schemes and said people would teach the opposition party a lesson in the coming elections.

Former MLC Laxman Naradasu, Mancherial TRS party in-charge A Nageshwar Rao, municipal chairperson M Vasundhara and many others were present.

Telangana Elections: Vote for irrigation water, don’t accept liquor, says TRS

Telangana will head for polls on December 7. Counting of votes will happen on December 11.

In a scathing attack, the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) has accused the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu-led Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for pumping in huge amounts of money into the Telangana Assembly election campaign in a bid to woo voters.

According to a report by The Times of India, TRS leader and state irrigation minister T Harish Rao urged voters not to get lured by money spent on them.

“Do you want that liquor or sufficient water for irrigation for the constituency?” Rao asked during a road show in Nagarkurnool Assembly constituency on October 24.

With nearly one month left for the elections, campaign has gained momentum in the state. While TRS is looking to retain power, opposition parties are leaving no stone unturned to wrest India’s youngest state from K Chandrashekar Rao-led party.

The TRS leader further sent out a message to voters, to expect any expenses on their fuel and food by TRS candidates to get their votes.

He appealed to the residents of Nagarkurnool to vote for sitting MLA Marri Janardhan Reddy. In his tenure, Reddy has proved his worth and therefore the people should work for his victory, said Rao.

Rao blamed TDP for working against the interests of Telangana. N Chandrababu Naidu had objected to Palamuru Ethipothala project on the grounds that Telangana would draw the required water from Srisailam, Rao claimed.

Telangana will head for polls on December 7. Counting of votes will happen on December 11.
